Aug 24, 2009 — “The Best Western in Sutherlin, Oregon has got to be the best one that I have ever stayed in. There are all the amenities that a family needs, plus more. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were heavenly. There is a pool and hot tub that we did not use, but we looked at it and it is large and immaculately clean.

“A definite asset to this hotel has got to be staff — front desk, housekeeping and the cafe staff were all very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic. So many choices! There is a buffet, plus you can have omelets made to order, which have got to be one of the best ones I have ever had. It is nice to see an actual sit-down breakfast in a hotel. I recommend this hotel to everyone. You will not be disappointed!!”

Aug 24, 2009 — “This hotel was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It was warm and inviting. My family and I just happened to stumble upon this hotel late in the evening and found the young man at the desk to be very welcoming and friendly.

“When I was told about the breakfast, I thought it sounded too good to be true. But when we went to breakfast the next morning we could not believe the choices we had. It was truly a full breakfast. Many hotels will advertise this but there are limitations usually. Not in this case.

“WOW that's all I can say. The rooms were so clean as well and the beds were AMAZING! And another truly surprising was the bakery inside the hotel. Yes, a bakery! It was nice to be able to take a treat for the road and FREE! I would recommend anyone to come to this beautiful treasure of a hotel.”

Aug 24, 2009 — “I pulled off the freeway for gas and spotted this gem. Well lit and close to the freeway a great place to rest, great beds reminded me why the Best Western is the best choice on the road. The breakfast looks great too. A Very Clean New Safe place to stay at a good price.”

Aug 17, 2009 — “This hotel has recently been remodeled and is under new ownership. I travel here for business often and also bring my family along. The rooms are clean, the pool is nice and the included breakfast makes for an excellent way to start the day. The breakfast is actually really good. A fresh omelet or whatever you like. In my opinion, this is hands down the best hotel in the Roseburg Area.

“The staff is always friendly (in my experience, which is a lot) and the bedding is very comfortable. My kids love the pool and the fresh baked items. The hotel has a great baker and cook with culinary schooling. Very nice. Well done and well needed in the Roseburg Area. Do not stay in Roseburg. Stop in Sutherlin instead.”

Aug 4, 2009 — “We stopped at this hotel on our way up to Washington from California after a long day of driving. We arrived late in the evening and the attendant in the lobby was extremely courteous and helpful. She accommodated my request for a ground floor room and provided me with plenty of info about the surrounding area.

“Evidentally there are tons of waterfalls close by and I only wish we had more time to explore the forest. The room was very clean and contemporary and actually much bigger than I was expecting. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was actually pretty good and the omelet bar was a nice surprise. We used our complimentary bakery coupons on some treats for the kids to eat while we were on the road. If I were ever in the area again I would most certainly stay here.”
